She is always on the ready to help out wherever needed and her assistance is invaluable. She not only rescues, she is an active member of our re-nesting team and also heads our volunteers. Seen here, Vickie rescued a Barred Owl out of someones fireplace. This is a common mishap when chimney caps are not in place. Luckily for this owl, he will survive the ordeal and return to freedom promptly. He only suffered from dehydration and an empty tummy. Awesome job right here!
